Imagination Library
In August of 2008, United Way started the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Haywood County. It sounds almost too good to be true, but all preschool children (birth unitl their 5th birthday) are eligible for this program. Each month a new, carefully selected book is mailed directly to the child's home. This program is free to children, but United Way pays $28 per year for each child. Currently, we have 810 children enrolled in Imagination Library. If you would like to support this program, please write "Imagination Library" on your pledge form.
